Local-first AI app builder
Build real apps with an agent that runs on your machine
Caide is a local-first workspace for React Native, Flutter, and web. Bring your own model key, or use Caide Agent. Your code, projects, and keys stay on your computer.

What is Caide?
A local-first AI app builder for mobile and web.
Caide is a desktop workspace where an AI agent scaffolds, edits, runs, and verifies React Native (Expo), Flutter, Next.js, and blank projects. Your code, keys, and project history stay on your machine. Bring your own model provider for free, or use the optional Caide Agent plan.

Immutable Frameworks
One framework chosen at creation. Deep native toolchains.
Caide avoids generic spaghetti code by enforcing strict architectural boundaries. The framework you select configures the system prompt, toolchain verifiers, live dev-servers, and native export pipelines specifically for that stack.
Expo Metro dev-server, mobile simulator, browser preview for web, native iOS and Android build targets.
Dart toolchain, flutter analyze/test, DeviceLab preview, and native APK, AAB, and IPA packaging.
Modern SSR or SPA web apps with live hot-reloading preview, Vercel one-click deploy, and tarball builds.
Clean managed directory where the agent designs and scaffolds custom architectures from scratch.
Framework Scaffolding
Start with full native toolchain support
Create a new React Native Expo project, Flutter mobile app, or Next.js web application. Caide boots your local environment, installs exact dependencies, and spins up the live Metro or Vite watcher automatically.

Provider Portability & BYOK
Bring your own keys. Seven providers, one workspace.
Bring your own keys for OpenRouter, OpenCode Console, DeepSeek, or Google and they stay free forever: no quotas, no token markups. ChatGPT/Codex and Claude Code use your existing account logins. Caide Agent is the only paid surface (₦3,000 for 30 days, powered by OpenCode Console) and is entirely optional.
One key for hundreds of frontier and open models, with live pricing and fallbacks.
OpenCode's managed catalog, including the Go subscription host Caide Agent uses.
Optional hosted agent on OpenCode Console. ₦3,000 for 30 days with a 7-day, 500-credit trial.
Sign in with your ChatGPT account and run Codex models with native tool calls.
Use your official Claude Code login and CLI session. No Anthropic API key needed.
DeepSeek reasoning and chat models with direct API access and thinking budgets.
Current Gemini Pro and Flash models with long context and native multimodal input.
BYOK Model Hub
Direct provider connections. Zero markup.
Configure each key once in Caide's encrypted store, then switch providers per thread or per turn. Free BYOK is free forever; Caide Agent is the only optional paid surface.
The turn loop
Architecture, execution, and verification in one loop.
Caide turns a prompt into an explicit plan, a working change, and a verified preview — with the provider, files, and commands all visible along the way.
Align before code
Interactive App Blueprints and short surveys settle screens, state, and routes before anything touches disk.
Verify on real devices
Hot-reloading iPhone, Android, tablet, and desktop frames with live console diagnostics and QR testing.
Ship and export
Publish web projects to Vercel, trigger native APK/AAB/IPA builds, or export a CAIDEPKG.
Branch the database
Neon copy-on-write branches or a connected Supabase project keep schema work away from staging.
Approve every risky step
Tool approvals, shell blocklists, and checkpoints make destructive actions reviewable and reversible.
Local-first boundary
Know where every part of the work goes.
Caide keeps your code, data, and keys completely under your control. The boundary is explicit: local application state stays on your machine, while AI providers receive only the context necessary to fulfill your prompt.
Workspace state stays on your machine
All project files, SQLite thread history, version checkpoints, and local configs are stored strictly on your local disk—never in an external cloud account.
Direct provider routing for BYOK
BYOK prompts and tool calls stream directly from your machine to OpenRouter, OpenCode Console, DeepSeek, or Google. ChatGPT/Codex and Claude Code use your account. Caide Agent alone routes through Caide's gateway to OpenCode Console, with no token markup beyond the ₦3,000 30-day pass.
Free BYOK forever, optional hosted agent
Bring your own keys and build without quotas, caps, or token markups. Caide Agent is the only paid surface: ₦3,000 for 30 days, powered by OpenCode Console, with a 7-day / 500-credit trial. No other local feature is gated.
Explicit consent gates & safe shell
Every destructive command, package installation, and database migration requires your explicit consent. Blocklists prevent accidental data wipeout.
Product Questions
Understand the boundary before you run the work.
How frameworks, BYOK models, local SQLite, previews, database branching, and deployments fit together.
Caide is a local-first workspace for building production-grade full-stack applications with AI. Unlike general-purpose code assistants or chatbots, Caide manages the complete app development lifecycle: scaffolding framework projects (React Native, Flutter, Next.js), streaming agent code changes, reviewing architecture with App Blueprints, testing in DeviceLab with live hot-reloading, and deploying production builds.
Caide is free forever when you use your own accounts and keys. Connect OpenRouter, OpenCode Console, ChatGPT/Codex, Claude Code, DeepSeek, or Google Gemini and pay only your provider. The optional Caide Agent is ₦3,000 for 30 days with a 7-day/500-credit trial and runs on OpenCode Console; no other feature is gated.
Your provider keys are stored locally in Caide's encrypted store, and BYOK traffic goes directly to the provider you chose. Caide Agent is the one exception: it uses your Caide account and is proxied through our gateway to OpenCode Console, with only aggregate usage metered — prompts and code are never stored by Caide.
Caide currently provides deep, first-class support for four immutable project types: React Native (Expo) for iOS/Android/Web, Flutter for cross-platform native apps, Website (Next.js / Vite) for modern web applications, and Blank for unconstrained custom codebases.
Absolutely. In React Native and Flutter projects, Caide manages the local development servers, streams logs, provides responsive device frames (iPhone and Android) with mobile QR code testing, and triggers native production builds (APK, AAB, and IPA artifacts) using your local toolchains.
Before writing code for complex features, Caide's agent can generate interactive App Blueprints outlining routes, data models, and component hierarchies, alongside 3-question questionnaires to align on technical tradeoffs with you before committing changes.
Caide integrates with Neon serverless Postgres and Supabase. On Neon, feature threads get isolated, copy-on-write database branches in seconds so the agent can test migrations without affecting production data; Supabase projects connect directly.
Your source code remains entirely on your machine in standard local directories. Caide creates standard Git repositories that you can open in any editor, push to GitHub, or build with standard CLI tools at any time.
